I’m trying to refresh and redecorate my bedroom…
In place of the usual Friday Favorites, today I’ll be talking about one of my favorite activities – cleaning my closet.
As a child growing up in the 90s, I remember choker necklaces being the “it” fashion accessory and the trend is recently making a comeback.
I’ve noticed that chokers are back in trend lately and that sparked my idea of how to use up some leftover materials from previous DIYs. I’m going to make a simple choker.
I have so many small extra pieces of paper and ribbon from other DIY but I don’t know what to do with them. Throwing them out seems like a waste so I’m trying to find different ways to use them up. I made bookmarks with these leftover scraps.
It’s tassel DIY week for me! I had a few leftover “tassels” that I made from my last post which sparked this idea to reuse clothing tags as bookmarks.
After I came back from college, I’ve had a lot of different things I wanted to change to my bedroom. But of course that meant a lot of money is needed and I’m a broke college graduate. Here’s some of super simple DIY hacks that I’ve done so far to ease the pain haha.
For the past week, I’ve been learning how to drape a dress form (a little bit each night since I work full time). Not having a pin cushion was very inconvenient so I decided to craft one myself through repurposing cosmetic packaging and left over fabrics.
