This winter has been colder than usual…
I always had dry skin and therefore I always try to find the most moisturizing products for the winter season.
Kiehls Creme de Corps Body Moisturizer is one of my new favorites. Other than the skin on my face that’s shedding, the skin on my body is too. This moisturizer is a bit pricey but I think it works. I use it 2-3 times a week and it helps my skin stay more moist.
Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment is something I use on a daily basis. It comes in a variety of different shades and colors; I currently have 2 different colors. It’s a lip tint in addition to being a lip balm. I have very dry and cracked lips that bleeds easily (because it’s so dry). So I use this in replacement of other lip products because it has color and it’s moisturizing. But unlike lip tints, this tint doesn’t stay on the lips throughout the day; after you eat, you’ll probably have to reapply. It’s way more moisturizing than any lip tints I’ve tried before though. The Rose shade is one of the ones I have and I think it’s the most sheer in color. If you’re looking for a brighter and more prominent color, I would suggest other shades.
bareMinerals Good Hydrations Primer is a primer I started using last year. I was introduced to it during a bareMinerals event and since then it’s my go to primer. Foundations in general tend to be too dry for me and therefore look very cakey. I like this primer because it doesn’t have that effect after I apply foundation over it.
Tatcha Luminous Dewy Skin Mist is something you could use over makeup. They call it a spray moisturizer and I kind of agree. If my skin becomes so dry that it feels like it’s pulling, then I would spray this on over my makeup throughout the day. It helps to touch up my makeup and give it a dewy glow. If you like your makeup looking dewy, then I would suggest giving this a try.
These are my winter necessities this season. The primer and skin mist have been in my collection for a few seasons now and it’s something I’ve been using even in the hot summers. What are your winter skin care/makeup necessities?
