This past weekend, I attended a bareMinerals event at Brea Mall.

I found out about the event though the Influenster app. This bareMinerals event was to promote the BarePro foundation so I was able to try the foundation during the event and was given a tote bag with some samples as part of being the first 100 visitors.

Makeup artist were there to help with choosing the right color of foundation for your skintone and I even got a chance to try one of their primers before applying the foundation. The foundation looked really nice on the skin and didn’t seem to cake a lot but I really think it was the effect of the primer, which I really like.

The tote included a sample of the Prime Time Eyelid Primer, Lash Domination volumizing mascara, and the Gen Nude: Mini Matte Liquid Lipcolor and the Mini Buttercream Lipgloss. I haven’t tried them yet but I’ll definitely have an update if I like them.

For the first beauty type event that I attended, it was pretty interesting. Though I do think they were a bit unorganized, it was a overall good experience.
