Marble Pendant DIY

Hello, I’m finally back with a Jewelry DIY.

I’m officially on Spring break this week. Even though I still have to go to work, I have a lot more time to spend on making things. I’m experimenting with polymer clay again and I’m just really inspired for marbles (again haha).

For this DIY, I’m trying to make a marble pendant.

Materials I used:

  • Sculpey III Oven Bake Polymer Clay
  • Wax paper
  • Gloves
  • Paint and Brush (optional)
  • 20 gauge wire (in pink)
  • Sculpey Gloss Glaze (optional)

I used a pink color and added white to create a somewhat marble effect. I didn’t want the traditional white and gray marble look so I used pink instead. You could also add acrylic paint for a slightly different look.

Once I had a flattened out piece of polymer clay, I used wires to create the shape I wanted.

The wires would act as a mold that would cut a shape into the clay. Then, I baked it and let it cool.

Once it cooled, I used a gloss over it but this is really optional. The clay itself is durable enough on it’s own.

This is my finished pendant. I’m still trying to figure out a way to perfect the “stone” like look but this is a pretty good replica for now. I will update once I find a better way.

I have soooo many things I want to make this break haha; I’m pretty excited so stay tuned for more in the upcoming weeks!

Have a great spring!
