A new mood board for the spring…
Hello! As spring approaches, a new mood board is needed. I find that having a mood board helps me organize my ideas/ inspirations a little better and the process of making one is kind of relaxing.
Materials I used:
- Scissors
- Paper
- Printer
- Black board
- Tape/glue
I don’t know about you but I could browse pinterest for hours! I find a lot of my photos on pinterest and other clothing sites. I tend to start with having a color palette in mind and pick photos this way.
It’s almost wedding and prom season so I’m really inspired by dresses. I recently learned about Sherry. London, an online retailer for evening and special occasion dresses. I found a lot of inspiration on their site since it featured so many different style of dresses. (*Note: this is a part of a sponsored ad.)
Here are a few examples from their site (click on the link for more)
Then, I simply cut all of them and organize them on the board. If you are planning to reuse this board for later, I would suggest using a re-stickable glue stick. But since I don’t plan on reusing this board and as a personal preference, I used double sided tape.
To add a final touch, I added some leaves to make it a little more romantic. I didn’t have any fabric swatches or trims to use this time around but usually for this kind of project, I would add some onto my board.
Now all that’s left is to make some space for this board in my room.
*Note: This is a sponsored post. I have not had any experience purchasing from this website. I am merely sharing their photos for this post.
