I’m not someone that really likes gold toned jewelry but this time I challenged myself to make a gold toned necklace.
I went to my local crafts store this past weekend and bought some gold-ish beads. I really liked that rustic look and I think gold would work really well with it.
Materials I used:
- 1 Cord end cap
- 1 7mm Spring Ring Clasp with the jump ring
- 1 spacer bead
- 1 gold accent bead
- 1 brown suede cord
Unlike the previous chokers I’ve made, I inserted the bead/charm first since this one had two loops. Then, one end I sewed it down at the tip before creating a loop, inserting a spacer bead, and a jump ring in that loop. This is the better method I came up with and it allows it to be more adjustable. On the other end I attached the cord end cap then the spring ring clasp.
Now it’s completed! It’s a little fancier than my other chokers but I really like how it came out.
Would you ever wear such a fancy choker out?
